Inspired – by Perched: BARE Essentials

Uncovered Elegance.

Here at Perched we are busy planning new collections and looking at global trends trying to decide what our next pieces will be. As we grow as a business it is very important for us to stay on trend and continue to offer our customers something different.

This year we’re focusing on the BARE essentials. Pieces that stand out and are strong whether alone or as a group. Pieces that don’t need to be hidden or covered under fabric but can be celebrated as they are.

So here are a few things that are inspiring us. Have a look and see if you can guess what’s coming next from Perched.

Event Tips: Let’s Talk About Chairs

So, let’s talk about chairs! We know that a lot of the time clients think that the banquet chairs supplied by the venue are the only option and to cover them is the only solution. Chairs are one of the first elements your guests will see and, if you have a chair that contradicts or alienates your style, it can create a chaotic and disorganized feel. Chairs have the ability to set the tone, whether it be chic modern or lush garden, they ground your style and allow your finer details to shine.

Here are 5 alternative chair styles for your event:

We update our blog regularly with new images of our work, things we’re into and what’s coming soon. We hope you enjoy and find some inspiration and of course PLEASE feel free to share any content we publish and most importantly spread the word!

For our first article I would like to welcome you all to our news series “Inspired – by Perched”, and also tell you a little about us. My husband and I decided to start Perched over a glass of wine and a pizza at La Cantina. We moved to Trinidad in 2012 and have been part of the creative industry since. Lovers of modern design, clean lines and fresh ideas we decided that we wanted to do our part and bring something new to the event rental industry in Trinidad and Tobago. Tired of sitting on spandex covered chairs we started to imagine what we would like to see as an alternative – and here it is. Continue Reading →
